Esther, Anne Huberman and Joel Huberman became good
friends when Joel was a post-doc in Arthur Kornberg's
lab (April, 1968 - July, 1970). All three friends
played recorder in the Mid-Peninsula Recorder
Orchestra, as well as sharing a mutual interest in
each other's scientific work.
